What is the Monster Project?
Kids draw monsters, then artists from all over the world recreate them in their own styles! We hope to help children recognize the power of their own imaginations and to encourage them to pursue their creative potential.

We’re so excited to bring The Monster Project to Indianapolis this year! We’re looking for local artists who are passionate about art education and are willing to interact with the kids in person. While we still plan to invite artists from all over the world to participate, we also want to introduce the kids to some working creatives in their own city in hopes that they will see that a career in art is achievable and exciting!

If you are selected to participate, we will reach out to you in early-mid August with more details. The project will kick off in September 2017 and all artists will have one month to recreate their student’s drawing. Indianapolis artists will then attend an in-class presentation in early November where the monsters will be revealed to the students.
