Brinkman Press, Inc, a now full-service printer, was started back in October of 1990 by it's founder Tom Brinkman. From Business cards to annual reports and everything in between, this full-service bindery and mailing print shop can produce a broad spectrum of pieces ranging from single to four color. Brinkman will be doing a working open house, featuring 'paper and print’ for this tour. Not only will people be able to see how the printing process works, from making plates to finishing the job in bindery, he will also be printing the same image Digitally so that everyone can see from ink on paper to toner on paper. This will be a great tool for designers to understand just how important paper still is in our world. There will also be different finishing samples available for everyone to see as well as actually getting to watch a die cutting job live! Come see this seasoned printer in their new digs, and learn a thing or two about printing behind-the-scenes.
