Do you want to breathe new life into your digital illustration? Try boosting your color palettes and use custom textures! Finding the perfect texture or colors for your digital illustrations doesn’t have to be such a struggle. It is actually a lot of fun so let’s do it together!
DESCRIPTION: Join Brave the Woods for a fun night where you’ll first learn a bit about the husband and wife duo in a short Q&A style presentation. Then with Brad Woodard, we’ll be collecting and creating physical textures from nature (and other found objects) and scanning them into the computer to make a range of different digital texture tools to use in a digital illustration!
**You will be making taxonomy-style posters of a bug(s) in bold, minimal colors using loads of our newly made nature textures! **
You will be getting hands-on help and tips with Brad Woodard, a professional illustrator and graphic designer who is also one of Skillshare’s top teachers with more than 58,000 students between his 10 online courses. He is known for his bold, playful and colorful digital illustration style, working with clients like Clif Kid, Ebay, Target and Honda.
This will be a smaller workshop, so reserve your seat quickly! We want to be as hands-on and available as we can to each of you during this fun workshop.
