Free and Open to the Public: Please join the Design Arts Society for a conversation with Herman Miller’s Sam Grawe, global brand director, and Amy Auscherman, corporate archivist. They will offer an inspiring overview of Alexander Girard’s illustrious 21-year career with Herman Miller which began in 1952.
Girard worked in nearly every field of design, from graphics and textiles to furniture, interior design, and architecture.
Their presentation will be followed by a conversation with grandchildren Aleishall Girard-Maxon and Kori Girard, who preserve Girard’s legacy through Girard Studio.
Reception with cash bar following the lecture.
