Data suggests that organizations that are more diverse, not only generate more revenue, but are more innovative and have a higher staff retention rate. We believe this workshop will benefit designers of all levels, but we would love to see designers in leadership roles attend this workshop.

This workshop series sets out to build a culturally competent and inclusive design community. It will challenge you to become a champion of equity and inclusion through self-discovery and empowerment. We hope to inspire and transform lives through providing tangible actions that promote community, inclusion, and social responsibility.

This 1.5-hour workshop has several parts:

• Develop understanding of the Cultural Competence Framework

• Discussion on Cultural Incompetence in the workplace

• Develop understanding of types of bias

• Deeper understanding of Cultural Competence through Q&A

This DEI workshops series will be led by LEAD Culture Consulting. It will be virtual and will include interactive discussions with visual aids/PowerPoint and handouts for group dialogue.
