Describe yourself in one sentence.

I am always aspiring to not settle on the first idea that comes to mind but working for the best possible idea out there.

Where do you work/go to school?

I just graduated from Ball State University this month, May 2020, with my BFA in Visual Communication!

Favorite program/tools to use for designing?

Illustrator is my go-to program, but I also love using a good ole fashion pen and paper as well.

Design hero?

My design heroes are Paula Scher and Jessica Walsh.

Favorite thing to do outside of work?

When I am not designing, I love to use my creativity to DIY & craft, watch endless amounts of YouTube, and try to keep my many, many plants alive.

How and why did you get involved with AIGA?

I have been involved with our local AIGA chapter at Ball State University since 2017 and have been on the BSU AIGA board since 2018. After being involved in our local chapter and attending a couple of AIGA events in Indy I became an official member. I love learning of new designers, resources, and being apart of a community.

Approximately how long have you been involved with the organization?

I have been an official member for about 1 year now.

Any projects you want to highlight?

I just completed my senior design campaign, My Body. My Body is an organization focused on educating, spreading awareness, and helping those with Body Dysmorphic Disorder. You can check out this project and more on my website aliciabraun.com.
